Eucalyptus oil is extracted from the leaves by steam distillation. This oil is used in a wide range of pharmaceuticals, cleansers, flavors, natural medicine and aromatherapy and repellents. It contains a big quantity of cineole.

This is powerful bactericidal and antiviral oil. It has soothing, cooling and pain relieving properties.

It grows in rainfall areas down to 350 mm/year.
